A four-week NEET revision system for recall, mixed questions, mock analysis, error repair, tapering, and exam-format practice without resource hopping.

The last thirty days should not look like the first month of preparation compressed into panic. Revision now has a narrower purpose: make high-coverage knowledge retrievable, expose failure points under mixed conditions, correct them, and stabilize an exam-day process. Passive familiarity is especially misleading at this stage. If a fact, formula or method cannot be produced before the answer is shown, it is not yet dependable recall.
The schedule below uses four phases, but it is not a score guarantee and it does not prescribe an exact mock count for everyone. Preserve full-paper analysis, sleep and recovery when scaling the workload. Confirm the current syllabus, pattern, mode and examination-day rules in the official bulletin and public notices for your year. In particular, never assume that an earlier paper's structure automatically applies to a later examination.

Before day 1: compress the syllabus into revision units
List every syllabus unit and assign it one of three revision routes. Route A is reliable: maintain it with mixed questions. Route B is retrievable but inconsistent: use short recall plus focused correction. Route C is weak or unfinished: choose the smallest high-value subtopic that can be repaired, then test it. This triage avoids spending equal time on a strong chapter and a chapter that repeatedly produces avoidable losses.
Prepare one compact queue rather than a shelf of resources. The queue can include textbook pages, formula conditions, annotated diagrams, reaction maps and mistake prompts, but every item must answer a specific need. Remove duplicate notes and unreviewed saved videos. The purpose is to shorten the path from a diagnosed gap to its authoritative explanation, then return quickly to retrieval and questions.

Days 1 to 7: complete the first active-recall sweep
Use the first week to touch the breadth of the course without rereading everything. Begin each session by writing or speaking what you know from a chapter: key relationships, exceptions, diagrams, formula assumptions or reaction outcomes. Only then open the source, compare, and mark omissions. Follow the comparison with questions so recognition is converted into use. Biology recall should include labels and statement-level distinctions; numerical subjects should include setup, units and boundary conditions.
End every day with a mixed set from topics revised on earlier days. This delayed return is essential because same-session performance is inflated by recency. Keep the daily repair list short. If a chapter produces fifteen issues, group them into two or three causes rather than copying fifteen solutions. The next morning, retrieve those causes before beginning new revision.

Days 8 to 16: mix subjects and strengthen decisions
The second phase should reduce chapter cues. Build sets that combine several units and alternate direct recall, calculations and statement evaluation. A mixed set tests whether you can recognize which idea applies, not merely execute a method announced by the chapter heading. Use the official marking rule for your examination year and track unattempted questions, because an apparent accuracy gain can hide excessive skipping.
Introduce full-format simulations at a sustainable frequency. Reproduce the official duration, question distribution and response method as closely as possible. Between simulations, work on the largest error category rather than retaking another paper immediately. If the main loss is conceptual, do targeted retrieval and problems. If it is time selection, practise leaving and returning. If it is response transfer, use a fixed numbered OMR protocol.

Days 17 to 24: use mocks as diagnostic instruments
For every full paper, create a score bridge. Account for marks lost to unknown content, failed recall, wrong method, calculation, misreading, guessing, time expiry and response-sheet mistakes. Then re-solve all wrong and unattempted items without the solution. This distinguishes questions you could answer with more time from questions that require actual learning. The distinction controls the repair task.
Retest repaired concepts in a fresh mixed set within a few days. A correction counts only if it survives without the original explanation visible. Compare rolling indicators across several papers: first-pass completion, marks lost to negatives, unvisited questions, subject time and repeat-error count. Raw scores can fluctuate with paper difficulty; process measures reveal whether the revision system is becoming more reliable.

Days 25 to 28: consolidate the high-value sheets
Stop expanding the resource set. Consolidate only material that has earned a place through errors or frequent use: formula conditions, conversions, named exceptions, diagrams, tables, reaction logic and high-confusion pairs. Test each sheet by covering the answers. If a page can only be read, not queried, turn its headings into prompts. Delete points you now retrieve consistently so the remaining queue becomes sharper.
Continue timed mixed work, but do not chase fatigue as proof of effort. Use shorter sessions with full attention and review. Practise the same subject order, leaving rule and response-transfer rhythm that have worked in recent simulations. If a change is necessary, make it now and test it; exam day is too late for a new bubbling method or an unfamiliar section sequence.

Days 29 and 30: taper and verify logistics
Use the final two days for light retrieval, selected easy-to-medium questions and previously corrected errors. Avoid a huge new test whose analysis will remain unfinished. Preserve the normal sleep window and meal timing. Prepare required documents and travel details using the official instructions applicable to your sitting, not a generic checklist copied from an old year. Public notices can amend or clarify operational details.
On the final evening, close the books at a planned time. A short recall failure is a cue to review one source line, not to reopen the entire chapter. The goal is to arrive able to execute a familiar process: collect direct questions, exit long stalls, return to marked items, transfer responses carefully and verify serial numbers. Thirty days of revision should culminate in fewer decisions, not a final burst of improvisation.

Should I take a mock every day?
Only if you can still analyse, repair and retest each paper without damaging sleep or revision. The useful unit is a completed feedback cycle, not the number of submitted mocks.

Use a light, already-familiar queue: persistent mistake prompts, key conditions, diagrams and short recall. Avoid new resources, unfinished full papers and major process changes.
