What this policy covers
NeetVellum is an independent NEET preparation service. This policy covers data processed when you browse the site, create an account, practise questions, take mocks, buy a subscription, report content or contact support.
Data we collect
- Account identifiers, name and verified contact details supplied through Clerk.
- Exam preference, class or target year when you choose to provide them.
- Question attempts, selected options, correctness, response time, error tags, revision schedules, study-plan completion and mock results.
- Question reports and messages you submit to support.
- Subscription status and Stripe customer/subscription identifiers. NeetVellum does not receive or store complete card numbers.
- Consent-based product events such as page and feature actions. Optional analytics is not recorded before consent.
Before sign-in, a random identifier and pending learning activity may be kept in your browser so practice survives refreshes and can be attached after sign-in.
Why we use it
We use this data to deliver and secure the service, enforce entitlements, synchronise learning records, calculate progress and revision schedules, improve question quality, answer support requests, prevent abuse and meet accounting or legal obligations. We do not sell personal data.
Service providers
Clerk provides identity services; Stripe processes payments; Neon/PostgreSQL stores application records; Vercel hosts the web application. Each provider processes relevant data under its own terms and security controls. Payment details entered in Stripe surfaces go directly to Stripe.
Retention and deletion
Learning records remain while your account is active. You can export them or delete the account from Account. Account deletion removes learning and support data and anonymises the application profile. Transaction records may be retained when required for tax, fraud prevention, dispute handling or legal compliance. Aggregated statistics that no longer identify you may remain in question-health totals.
Students under 18
Many NEET aspirants are minors. A parent or guardian should review account and purchase decisions with a minor. Do not submit sensitive medical, identity or school records in question reports or support messages.
Your choices
You can decline optional analytics, clear browser storage, correct identity details through the account profile, download your learning record and request deletion. For a privacy question, use the authenticated support form.
Security and changes
We use access controls, server-side answer checking and limited data access, but no online service can promise absolute security. Material policy changes will be dated on this page. Continued use after an effective update means the revised policy applies to subsequent use.
