How NeetVellum content is built

Two banks, never one blurred claim
Original practice questions are authored for NeetVellum and are not represented as recalled or previous-year examination items. A question receives a PYQ label only when its paper is traceable to an official host or archived official publication and the answer is checked against an authoritative final key.
Original-question gate
Each content batch is checked for schema, stable ID, subject and chapter validity, permitted sources, review date, four distinct options, answer bounds, explanation length, exact duplicates and near-duplicates against both the published bank and the new batch. PG clinical content is additionally screened for unstable or unsafe treatment, dose, screening and guideline-next-step claims.
PYQ provenance
Every published PYQ record stores the examination, year, paper code, question number, official paper URL, official final-key URL and verification date. Items dependent on unreadable diagrams, missing layout or conflicting official evidence are withheld rather than reconstructed from coaching copies or memory.
Student-evidence loop
Attempts produce aggregate accuracy, response-time and option-selection signals. The editorial queue calculates median response time and discrimination when enough signed-in attempt evidence exists. Repeated reports automatically quarantine a question from new sessions. Operators can resolve with an audit note, restore after review or keep the item retired without deleting historical attempts.
Reports and corrections
Every practice question includes report reasons for wrong key, ambiguity, unclear explanation, syllabus scope, outdated information, formatting and duplication. Report a defect in the question surface or through Support. A high attempt count does not make a question correct; poor discrimination or an implausible option distribution is evidence for human review.
Clinical and admission limits
Medical explanations are educational, not patient-care instructions. Admission, rank and counselling content is dated and non-predictive unless an official source explicitly supports the claim. NeetVellum does not manufacture topper quotations, chapter-weightage guarantees, future ranks or institutional endorsement.
