Candidate tasks

  1. Elicit WHO clinical signs and classify SOME dehydration. [1]
  2. Calculate Plan B ORS volume (75 mL/kg over 4 h).[1]
  3. Continue breastfeeding; replace ongoing losses.
  4. Prescribe zinc 10–20 mg daily for 10–14 days (WHO 2005).[1]
  5. Teach Plan A after recovery and danger signs for return.
