- Cold chain: vaccines at 2 to 8 degrees C from manufacture to administration
- VVM: heat-sensitive label. Inner square same/lighter than outer = safe. Darker = discard
- Shake test: for adsorbed vaccines (DPT, HepB) - frozen and thawed does NOT resuspend
